My Project

Many students in our district come from low-income homes. Students at times enter the classroom hungry, cold, and tired. This will sometimes cause them to feel ill as well. When a student comes to school hungry it is very difficult or sometimes impossible for them to focus during class. l want to give every student a pair of gloves or mittens to wear when walking to school or waiting for the bus. My students don't always have access or income for good, warm, mittens and gloves. This project will get little hands warm and covered. The snack donations such as chips, fruit snacks, pudding, cookies, and juice will provide a variety of options for students in hopes of helping curve their little hunger pains.

Providing these snacks and gloves will in turn increase their focus and help them have a successful learning day.
