This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Keep our students warm with school pride! My students in my Publishing Club love to develop school designs and logos for their school but want to offer warm sweatshirts for those who cannot afford them. Warm students will increase learning!

At our high school, our students are caring and are very active in class and other school activities such as our Publishing Club.

They are lower income minority students but always want to help others they consider less fortunate. These students also have so much energy to learn, prepare for college, create their own resumes and work on mock interviews as they understand how important it is for the outside world beyond their neighborhood.

My Project

These sweatshirts will enable my club members to have more sweatshirts to print their own school design but more importantly can offer them to other students for a a very low price. With this price more students will be to buy them, promote school pride and keep them warm for this winter. Many of these students cannot afford many warm clothes. The club members will have immense pride to be able to sell these sweatshirts for a very low and affordable price. My students will learn the printing process and costs of running a business while creating new products that are very viable in the working world.

These donations will make a huge difference as students will be able to purchase a great designed sweatshirt for a very great price and keep warm at the same time.

Wearing their school design and name will increase student pride toward their school. My club members will have learned business skills such as pricing, sales, marketing, production, and others. The final impact is any profits will be used for senior scholarships for college.
