Warm Weather Gear for Below Zero Temps

My Project

I am the school nurse for a Title I school. I service around 420 students. We have a high number of students who are free and reduced lunch, The cost of buying winter gear that is appropriate for the weather is a huge challenge to my families. We live in an extremely cold climate where on most winter days the temperature is below zero.

What do you do if it the temperature is below zero and you have to go out to recess, but you don't have the proper gear to do so?

This is why I need to have gloves and hats. With these items I will be able to have a borrowing closet where students who need items are able to come borrow them from me for recess and return them after so many other students are able to use them.

Being warm and having the right gear for the cold weather makes it so much easier and more enjoyable to go outside and have fun in the snow (even if it is below zero.) Thank you for helping to keep the students at this school safe and warm this winter season.
