I teach a diverse group of students with individual needs and learning styles. I have been blessed with the opportunity to loop with my students. Therefore, in the 2018-2019 school year I will be able to further the success of the 2017-2018 school year with the same students.
The creation of learning through powerful and meaningful relationships is the reason why I have been successful in the classroom.
As a teacher, I use motivation to help my students reach their academic growth goals. The learning that takes place in my room can be described as fun, energetic and meaningful. Learning should take place in a safe and happy place. With the help of my students we have created a wonderful place to learn.
My Project
Warm Our Heads, is a project that will supply each of my students with a warm insulated winter hat. We will use our classroom Cricut to print our classroom family logo on to iron-on vinyl sheets and then apply it to our winter hats. Warm Our Heads will give each of my students a winter hat that will provide warm and love.

Keeping warm in the winter is important and directly impacts the learning that will take place in the classroom. Students who are cold spend their energy trying to get warm. Providing my class with warm heads will allow my students to focus their energy on learning instead of trying to stay warm.
