My students are awesome! They all come from diverse backgrounds, but they come ready to learn and soak up new experiences. Although our school is in a rural community, we have a diverse population of students. Many of our students are fairly new to our country and are just learning to speak English.
My classroom is a place where kids can come together to learn and have fun regardless of their differences or needs.
Throughout the school year, we work hard to improve academically, socially, and emotionally and we build relationships within the community.
I love our Wisconsin seasons, but winter seems to be underappreciated. Each year we make sure to teach our students about the wonderful winter activities available and give them a fun experience sledding outdoors. Many of our students are new to Wisconsin and have not experienced the cold yet. We always have a nice collection of jackets, snow pants, and boots donated as children out grow them, but rarely ever get warm-waterproof gloves or socks. In order to continue to encourage the love of the outdoors we are in need of warm gloves and socks. Thank you for your donation.
