Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Many of my students are English Language Learners. They are mostly bilingual. Our school is a dual language bilingual school. All my students are in a Spanish-English dual language program. My class is an English class and the two classes alternate weekly. 30 students are in class 201 and 28 students are in class 202. Class 201 is a general education class. Class 202 is an ICT class which has 13 IEP students and 15 general education students. Everyone in my class has special skills and talents. The work we do in this classroom is to build positive relationships, involving a partnership or group activities. We are working to build our school core value of PEACE: Perseverance, Enthusiasm for learning, Activism for social justice, Collaboration, and Empathy.
My Project
This will be a wonderful opportunity if you would like to be part of giving a warm gift to students. My students need everyday school materials. I am thinking it will be wonderful if all the students in my class can have a set.
Be part of a warm gift giving.
A set will include a pencil case, two pencils, an eraser, two gel pens, a pencil grip, and a 6-inch ruler for every child (58).
Students will learn how to be responsible by taking care of their own materials. Also, students can be ready to work at all times wherever they go after school. They will have the tools ready at all times for them to do their homework, no matter where they are.
