Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I wish to provide students with a variety of items to keep warm and their bellies full. I have requested for boys and girls sweatpants to hand out to kids that need it. They will be able to use the sweatpants during physical education class. I have also asked for socks to keep their feet warm during the cold winter season.

It is critical that kids have the essentials needed for everyday life.

The toothbrushes and toothpaste are always a must for keeping up with dental hygiene. There are kids that don’t bring snacks to school for that much needed pick me up or just when they are hungry, so I have requested juice, goldfish crackers, Rice Krispie treats, chips, and cookies. I am hopeful that the kids will be able to have a multitude of items at their fingertips to keep them warm and their bellies full.
