Our school is located in Kingwood, a suburb just north of Houston, Texas. I am truly thankful to have the opportunity to teach a great group of enthusiastic Fifth graders! We are so excited to get this year started!
The students in this classroom are excited about learning!
They will be spending the year exploring new ideas and concepts and creating projects that are meaningful to them. I can't wait to watch them grow this year, the sky is the limit!
My Project
In our classroom, students are encouraged to research and explore their curiosities. As teachers, we strive to eliminate the, "We'll get back to that question later." response we sometimes give our students, and instead allow students to find answers to their questions right away. We are requesting one more Chromebook and and iPad in our classroom. This technology will allow more students to find their passion and discover answers to questions.
Our students DESERVE to feed their hunger for knowledge!
Our classroom craves more devices to research questions, explore ideas, create using code, record video and audio, etc.
Adding an iPad to the classroom will allow more students to create movies, audio, visuals, etc. Currently, we have one iPad in our classroom. Adding another iPad in our classroom will allow more students to have the opportunity to create amazing digital products.
