My Students

I have 25 curious, energetic Transitional Kindergarten students who love to play and learn. As this is the beginning of their educational journey, I have the opportunity to engage their minds and set the stage for lifelong learning. They love building and creating.

I teach at a project-based learning elementary school.

By immersing them in project based learning activities, we are building the foundation for collaboration and problem solving skills that will set them up for future successes in their education.

My Project

My students have a set of chrome books that they use during center rotations. I usually work with a small group to individualize instruction during this time. The educational games that the students play are fun and motivating but can be very noisy and distracting during my small group time. By donating to this project, you will be supplying my class with a set of headphones that can be used with the chrome books, allowing me to focus more attention on individual students in a more calm and quiet environment. This will improve students’ fundamental reading, writing and math skills.
