Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have an amazing group of third grade magnet students. We enjoy challenging each other to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.
My students are enthusiastic, creative, focused, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning.
They are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to have a positive mind-set in everything they do. They come to school eager to learn. My students attend a Title 1 school in a low-income area. The entire school participates in a free breakfast and lunch program.
My Project
We are in desperate need of chair socks and Sharpie markers! My classroom is on the second floor and whenever my students get in and out of their chairs, the chairs make a lot of noise. The addition of chair socks to the bottom of the chair legs would make life so much quieter for my students as well as the first-grade class directly below my classroom.
We are also in need of new Sharpie markers.
Our Sharpies are drying out, and we use Sharpies to create our posters, to outline our artwork, and to make everything pop! My students love to make things pop!
