The elementary is the last addition of the NP3 K-12 dream. It has been years in the making and we are proud to finally accomplish this journey.
My classroom consists of 24 happy and hard working Kindergartners who come from different backgrounds and cultures.
We are fortunate enough to have a wonderful community with supportive parents who want the best for their child and school. Some of our students qualify for free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch. We have many English Language Learners. These are students who are learning to speak English or English is their second language.
My Project
I would love to get some white card stock and a laminator so that I would be able to create language arts activities, math games, posters, sight words, etc. to use in my classroom. Laminating these teacher created items will last much longer and that means more students will be able to use them.
Not only will these games and center activities make learning more engaging, it'll also teach them social skills such as taking turns, sharing, and playing cooperatively.
Lastly, pencils are always needed in the classrooms, and I have found that these triangular pencils are easier for little hands.
