My students need a 3D printer to elevate their learning and comprehension in the 21st Century. Students of today need higher skill sets to solve the problems of tomorrow.

My Students

Over a three year period, my students explore innovation, robotics, energy and the environment, and structural design. We use leading 3D design software to create virtual computer models that forward student learning and development.

My school offers a variety of learning experiences designed to allow young people to continue to master their learning skills and explore new opportunities.

The curriculum is organized to develop decision-making and problem solving skills, which are important competencies for successful citizenship in the 21st Century.

My Project

Given a variety of real world problems, my students will engage in problem solving strategies utilizing the design process, and modeling software. Ultimately they will create three-dimensional prototypes by using the 3D printer to assess their project feasibility.

In today's increasingly digital collaborative world, students must have the ability to problem solve in a way that is different and unique compared to methods that evolved from an industrial revolution mindset.

Global competitiveness has driven the need for the development and use of new technologies to adequately prepare students to compete in our current global economy.
