This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have so many wonderful, loving students. They love to learn and try new things. Many of my students have barriers to learning because it is a low-income area. Some students have difficult home situations or are in foster homes.

I love that PE gives many children an opportunity to smile and run off energy during the day.

So much of my job is teaching the students to work together, speak politely to each other, play safely, cooperate, take turns, and be helpful. I hope to inspire my learners to play, be healthy, and be kind to their classmates. Teaching is a very challenging job, but it is so important. I'm happy to bring joy to their day.

My Project

These Walkaroo Ican walking stilts are sturdy, strong, and perfect for allowing the students to practice their balance and coordination. They can be used with any grade level. My students will have so much fun using them. The Flybar Maverick Walking Stilts with adjustable height will give coordinated students an added challenge by allowing them to get higher off of the ground. They will be so excited to receive these fun, new toys, and they help meet our physical education standards. Thank you so much for donating to our physical education program. Our students love PE and love trying out new equipment!
