This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have observed that most first grade students often learn best through hands on and visual materials. I want to teach my students that we are a team and that we must respect each other and property. I would love to have these supplies so that would be one less worry of my parents. Their homes were severely damaged by the tornado and flash flooding that occurred in our area. Their money can be spent toward repairs. I will use these supplies to better serve my students during Reading and Math.
