My students need an easy way to capture virtual fieldtrip content.
This project expired on September 10, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our district schools are full of vivacious teachers who love to be innovative and charismatic! Our students love learning and reaching outside the box when presenting their learning. Together they show what creativity can look like within our curriculum. Access to content is a key component in our schools. Our schools are in Ashwaubenon, WI which is a suburb of Green Bay. One of our 3 schools is walking distance to Lambeau Field...Go Pack Go!
Our creative and innovative students love experiencing content in multiple mediums.
Our school district is roughly 30% impoverished and class sizes at the elementary range from 19-24. Our resources are utilized fully with little left to spend on innovative technologies to engage students.
The Lenovo Mirage Camera will give us the ability to easily create VR-Ready photos and videos to support our science and social studies curriculum. Having access to high-quality VR 180 images from the Lenovo Mirage camera will allow teachers the ability to share outside resources with their students in a virtual reality format. Images and videos will be available to students and teachers via Google Photos and YouTube.
Often time, field trips happen on one day a year, but that content may be utilized a multitude of times per year with the Lenovo Mirage camera and our currently owned VR headsets.
