My Project

Technology is a big part of my student's daily education. In my class, we use Chromebooks to work on research-based writing activities, listen to online books through our reading curriculum, and use supplemental programs to help with our testing preparation. It is important that each student has their own set of headphones to help maintain an appropriate level of volume in the classroom. When there is a high number of Chromebooks running at one time, this makes the learning process extremely difficult and often causes distractions for my small groups.

Providing my students with their very own set of headphones will help them stay focused and allow them to concentrate on their work.

Having a good pair of headphones can help provide a sense of happiness. However, many of our school's headphone sets are very old and outdated. They are constantly needing to be replaced or do not function properly when being used. Having the proper tools and organization in the classroom makes for a more calm and focused learning environment.
