Help me give my students amazing equipment for our volleyball unit and for our after-school program. The 4-way court nets are an incredible product that can help with our students play so many games!
The diverse backgrounds of the students at my school create such a unique learning environment for both the staff and the students.
Ninety-three percent of our students are a part of the free and reduced-price lunch program, and many have difficult home situations.
The resilient students must overcome many obstacles before even stepping foot into the school building each morning with a mind that is ready to learn.
Since students at my school come from a variety of backgrounds, their fitness levels vary a great deal. As the Physical Education teacher, my goal is to get them excited about being physically active and healthier both in and outside of school! I am hoping that this project will achieve those goals!
My Project
The materials I am asking for are volleyballs, volleyball trainers and a 4-way net system. Our school does not have any of this equipment and our volleyball unit is a favorite of the students. Teaching this unit with beach balls is fun but not as authentic as it should be!
The variety of balls that I requested will be useful for all of the grades that we have at our school.
The wide range of sizes and them being no sting is perfect for my sweet angels. The net system will not only be useful for the volleying unit, it can also be great for our throwing unit, as well as when we use rackets!
The After Care program at our school will use the equipment as well as the P.E. department to help the students extend their experiences and stay active after their school day!
