My class loves technology, science, and engineering! We incorporate large and small engineering projects throughout the year. Students learn and practice collaboration, risk-taking, critical thinking, and persevering. They love learning and sharing through technology.
This year, students will investigate their interests and share their learning using Flip Grid, See Saw and Facebook platforms.
This connects families and the community. Using technology for learning is engaging, exciting and motivating for students. Students have varied abilities. Technology, science, and engineering levels the playing field for all students.
It is a "magical" time where everyone works and learns together! I can't emphasize enough how powerful these opportunities are for students.
The MPOW noise cancelling headsets with microphones will help us express ourselves in new ways. We can all record at the same time without disturbing each other's recordings. This gives us an outlet to learn from and consider the ideas of others. We can also share with the community and our families.
What fun is it to learn new things if you keep all those great ideas to yourself?
We want to be able to learn from each other and show off what we learned. We want to share our opinions. We want to take chances!
One of our favorite things to do is hold scientists meetings. We consider a phenomena and discuss our ideas. By using digital tools, all of us can record our thoughts. We will all have the ability to listen to each other. Like they say "Two heads are better than one."
Imagine twenty heads!
Sometimes it can be difficult to express ourselves on paper or in a large group. This way ALL of our voices will be heard. ALL of our ideas will be shared!
