Help me give my students the QBall. It is a microphone for the kids' use in the classroom. They can toss it back and forth to amplify their voice when answering questions.

This group of kids struggle academically. However, they are making amazing gains this year, and I am super proud. Many of my kids have parents in the military, so they are accustomed to moving around, transferring schools, and making new friends.
Most of my students come from low income families.
They come from homes with one or no income. Students come to school expecting the very best from me, and I try to provide it. My classroom is a safe and easy place to be in. Students feel comfortable to speak their minds, make mistakes, and gain knowledge.
The Qball is an effective tool in even small group settings. Studies have shown that a child’s cognitive auditory processing is not fully developed until age 15. In order to comprehend speech clearly, they need to hear at more than 2X the level of your average adult! The Qball helps ensure that everyone can be heard clearly, especially students who tend to be shy or soft spoken.
Classroom challenges for children include:
...Everything from air conditioning units, to classroom acoustics and layout can impact a child’s ability to hear and learn.
...Quiet talkers
...“Teacher’s voice” – sore throats from having to talk all day
...Sedentary students – activity (like throwing a ball) grows a better brain!
The kids will love using this in a small group or whole group setting to answer teacher asked or student asked questions. I would love to use this in an Author's chair situation where the students get to speak into the Qball to project their voice while reading their paper out loud.
