Help me give my students some learning experiences for job opportunities and rewards. The students are in a vocational program and these items will help them out so much!
The students I teach are high school aged. They all have some kind of disability, ranging from learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, intellectually disabled, and autistic, to name a few. The students are eager to learn and to get the help they need to meet their academic goals.
Every student should have the same chance to learn and succeed in school no matter what socio-economic status they come from.
I try and make my students feel special, so they can all reach their highest potential!
My Project
My students can learn how to shred items with the shredder I am asking for to get "paid" (rewarded) for what they are learning, and get real-life experiences as well. They will also learn proper social skills and how to act appropriately in different situations. Also, the aromatherapy is helpful to calm students down and make for a calm environment. I also picked some snacks that motivate the students for their hard work!
They will learn to do certain vocational jobs and then can do it in the real world by doing these jobs around the school setting.
These students need reinforcements for real life experiences. They will learn certain social skills, skills for on the job training, and how to de-stress when needed that would be appropriate for a work place situation. This will get them ready for a "job" outside of the school setting when they graduate high school.
