My students in Cornelius, North Carolina are curious, compassionate, and creative. They seek challenges and love engaging, outside of the norm lessons and activities. We are a very large school which can make resources and activities challenging at times. They are engaged in a variety of clubs and activities but I am always searching for more to offer them.
My students don't settle for the same old lessons, they want to be challenged and seek new experiences.
With increased advancements in technology, there is more opportunity to enhance their learning and provide them with resources similar to what they see outside of the classroom setting. We just need the funding and little more outside support.
My Project
History can be very complicated and complex at times. Having visuals to connect to key events, will help bring history to life and enhance students engagement with the events. Having an opportunity to bring the story to life through original propaganda and country flags, will deepen my students love and understanding of this event.
These WWII visuals will help students see and gain a better understanding of the war and the key events that they will be learning about.
Getting to see the people and colors during the WWII struggle, will enhance their excitement and further their learning during this unit.
