My students are full of energy and are very curious. They are learning new things every minute. They are learning new vocabulary, how to recognize letters, and most importantly, how to be kind to others. It is so gratifying to see our students' growth over the course of the school year.
I teach in a 3-year-old Head Start classroom.
For most of my students, our program is their first school experience. I want it to be one in which they love coming to school each day.
My Project
Music is a universal language and we spend lots of time singing songs together during our day. We also sing and move to songs played on our program-provided CD player and iPad. It really helps for my students to have the visual on the iPad in order to know the songs and the movements. But using the iPad can be problematic because all of my 15 students are trying to see it at once. That is why I am asking for a projector.
The projector will provide a giant visual for all of my students to easily see.
They will then be using both hearing and sight in order to learn. Not only will the projector be useful during music and movement time, but also for providing visuals for all of our units of study during the year.
