This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the sweetest, bright-eyed, ready-to-learn 5- 6 year old kids anyone could ask for. Our class is very diverse, with various backgrounds. Families send their babies to me to shape these kiddos minds. Some kids' families are more fortunate than others. Many of my kids' parent work multiple jobs to support their family.

Twenty four students in the class promises me a good variety of learning abilities.

Some kids come in knowing how to write their name, then others don't know the difference between letters and numbers. Overall we are all excited to be here and READY to to learn!

My Project

Our AMAZING parents given our class two OSMO's which require an iPad. The iPad will be used to link up our OSMO games as well as our other learning apps that I have purchased for our classroom. We will be learning many math, science, and reading skills.

I am so excited to say that by using these iPads in our class this year we will get to use spacial reasoning, which is very difficult for our kindergarten kids!

The OSMO app will teach how to draw, how to add, how to subtract, and how to read! Technology is so important in our society. Many kids will unfortunately will miss out on this because of financial situations.
