My students need a document camera in order for us to project student work and to help model activities to the whole group.

My Students
I have a very diverse group of students that are homeless or come from poverty stricken homes. Many days it is a struggle for them to get to school on time and have their own supplies that are needed to learn. My priority is to make sure that their health, well-being, and learning needs are taken care of. Although these students experience a lot of trauma, they love school and want to learn. We just need the supplies and resources to help make it happen.
My Project
The document camera or visualizer will help our entire class to see individual student work. Students will be able to project their work onto the class screen in order to share out their daily activities. Teachers will also be able to model lessons and teach curricular games to whole groups of students.
Document cameras are a great piece of technology for students to proudly share their work to their classmates.
This technology builds confidence and encourages students to build their oral skills. The document cameras help to keep students on task, encourage communication among students, and help teachers to share strategies and lessons with larger groups of students.
