My Project

Students will do several projects that allow them to dissect social, political, and cultural issues. Furthermore, they will create an argument for their own beliefs and use evidence to support their claims. In class, they are currently working on a social issues paper.

Students have voiced that they would love to be able to visually track the entire classes progress.

Unfortunately, I do not have enough whiteboard space to do regular class learning for my other classes and a visual tracker.

Additionally, students do not have the supplies they need for all classes to create their posters and other projects that they need. While we use a lot of technology, students love to put their ideas on paper. I plan to have students read Dear Martin and create a final project to display in the school that reflect what they learned from Dear Martin. There is a specific bundle on TPT that has a plethora of resources to aid teaching Dear Martin and increase engagement.
