Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our public school serves an at-risk population, in an urban setting. My classroom is part of the initiative to prepare scholars for the rigor that they are becoming a part of in the world today.

I want to be able to give my scholars the boost that they need to love learning and become productive members of society.

School should be a safe place where children love to come every day and find out where the journey will take them to next.

My Project

I never imagined that we would remain in this virtual classroom for so long. My young ones have adjusted better than I expected. I'd like to be able to provide them with new and different experiences.

A new updated computer will provide amazing graphics that will help me give my scholars a new outlook in this virtual world.

I will be able to provide lessons to play back later, take them on virtual field trips, and enhance my lessons daily. Even after we return to in-person learning, it will continue to engage my students with this updated technology.
