Help me give my students visuals to use at home during Virginia's school closures. I will use the printer ink to print visual supports for my students. I will laminate and send the visuals in the mail.
I am a preschool special education teacher, serving ten preschoolers who are 3 to 5 year-old, with a variety of different special needs. Many of our students are non-verbal, are in wheelchairs and/ or have behavioral challenges.
Although they may not be typically developing, my students are just like all children in that are eager to learn and have fun doing it!
They are curious, inquisitive and energetic. Unfortunately, our school is currently closed and I am not able to access the supplies I need to make visuals to mail to my students and their families during this extended school closure. Thanks for your consideration in supporting my students!
My Project
My students will be at home for the next six months due to the Covid-19 outbreak. I would like to be able to make them visual supports to help them engage successfully in distance learning and in their daily activities at home. My students have special needs and rely on visuals to help them with communication, attention and understanding. With these supplies, I will be able to make them visual supports and will be able to send the visuals to families in the mail.
