Help me give my students a large projector screen to help support visual learning!
This project expired on May 2, 2020.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are an eager group of outgoing third graders with different learning styles. They enjoy hands on and visual activities, as well as using technology to enhance their learning. My students and I enjoy incorporating movement activities into our busy day; GoNoodle is one of their favorites! They love demonstrating their knowledge and skills through use of educational websites and applications such as Zearn/Engage New York Math, Mystery Science, Epic Books, Kahoot, A-Z Raz Kids, and Art for Kids Hub.
As a teacher who uses technology during my lessons, a large projector screen would benefit my students learning. Many activities that enhance my math, science, and ELA instruction are currently projected on a white board. This causes a glare, making it difficult for all students to see and engage.
A projector screen will allow students anywhere in the classroom to view and participate in their learning.
Using a document camera, I am able to model learning and problem solving strategies before students go off on their own. Students can also use the projector to demonstrate how they solve problems and share with their peers.
