My Students

I teach a self-contained 5th and 6th class. I have 15 students in my classroom, seven 5th grade students and eight 6th grade students. All my students are in special education and have a variety of different disabilities such as Autism, Emotionally Disturbed, Speech and Language, LD and Down Syndrome.

All of my students are visual learners and benefit from having lessons modeled for them.

All my students have a love for learning and try their very best despite their disabilities.

My Project

A document camera will visually help my students complete their work. This will help my students complete their math worksheets, science labs and much more!

My visual seekers will love to see their work demonstrated on a new document camera!

My students need the visual, step by step, demonstrations to understand how to complete their work. Having a document camera will help me be able to visually show my students on the smartboard how to complete their work.
