My Students

Students in my Kindergarten classroom have many positive attributes. They love music and dancing. They enjoy hands-on materials and exploring. They like to draw and write about their experiences. They are good problem solvers and are independent.

They respond to projects where they need to work together and are found to willingly help each other when in need.

Their favorite activity is Design Engineering, where they are asked what they want to do or make, and what materials will they use to accomplish this. This shows their problem solving, independence and collaboration skills.

My Project

Numeracy in Kindergarten is an essential skill to be learned and is a foundation for all other math learning. Kindergarteners need activities that help them use mathematical relationships to reason with numbers and number concepts.

Daily lessons provided in this Daily Math Fluency kit, will help ensure meaningful practice and familiarity with numbers and numeracy.

Young students also need engaging activities that promote these numeracy skills. Students will master fluency skills using visual models and manipulatives; highly engaging for young students

These activities will make a difference in the learning of numeracy because of these lessons build upon each other and provide practice in fluency of number and number sense.
