My Students

We are called the Hawk Cubs and the Hawk Cubs are the most eager-to-learn, caring little humans that I’ve met over the years I’ve taught!

They help each other and match one another’s strengths and weaknesses.

The question they ask when they walk in is, “what are we going to learn next?”

When it is time to read a book, they are very engaged and excited! I want them to have access to the things they will need to fulfill their eager-to-learn desires and explore and see things they’ve never seen!

My Project

The use of tablets in the classroom will help my students listen to stories and learn phonics in a familiar but fun and interactive way!

A listening center will help my students enhance their retelling abilities and it will help them know the parts of a book and they will learn how to follow the words in a story.

They will also be able to choose their favorite book or a new book to explore!

I believe that the Hawk Cubs will LOVE having this in their classroom and one of the most important things in life is knowing how to read!
