Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

What makes our students unique in this Pre-Kindergarten classroom, is that they come to us with a blank slate, and we fill their boards with academic knowledge. By the time they leave our classroom they are writing on their own slates. We are a Title I facility nestled in an urban community that serves the children in the neighborhood. Considering that we are a Cleveland public school, our neighborhood has more crime and homicide than the city’s statistics. With these odds, our scholars are still on time and ready to learn.

My Project

With the assistance of an Epson DC-21 2MP Document Camera projector, I can ensure all my students feel included and engaged.

With an Epson DC-21 2MP Document Camera projector, I can provide interactive videos and real-life photos to further student understanding in science, math, and social studies.

With an Elmo projector, I can display meaningful examples of how to work through problems. With an Elmo projector, I can be sure all students are able to clearly see what is being projected onto the board. An Elmo projector would help me to differentiate lessons and implement optimal learning for students at every level.
