Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are energetic, creative, and amazing. Although we are 100% free lunch, we are full of a zest for learning. We come from many ethnic backgrounds and types of homes, but at school we are all eager learners. Our school serves Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade, so there is a wide range of ages. We love our art, music and PE classes as well as our academics. We are 500 students strong--just like the crazy winds that blow through our town!

My Project

We will use the Alexa and indoor/outdoor clock to assist our multi-handicapped students better visualize weather. Many DVD's are requested and enjoyed during holiday time. We will allow students to check them out and take home. This way, they can enjoy a kid friendly movie night. They can also be used with other siblings in the home.

We want our students to share some of the joy they will find in the library.

With your help, the students will have visually interesting bookends There will be fun, new items in the library to enjoy there, or take home to share with their families.
