My Students

Technology has become an integral part of education. Everywhere we turn we encounter technology. Thus, I want to provide my students with equitable access to technology that will support them both in and outside the classroom.

My students are friendly and curious group of second graders.

They come from low-income communities. They come from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. Out of my 22 students, 13 are English Language Learners with a primary language of Spanish. The majority of my students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program. They are very enthusiastic about learning. They love technology and thoroughly enjoy using computers, iPads, and other technical gadgets.

My Project

My students are intrigued by learning in different ways. It is very important for me to teach my students in various forms to meet their needs. By using the power of the Internet and displaying various things using a projector, I will take my kids on a virtual tour around the world that will help them understand and grasp the world around them. Technology is a great tool to support learning and obtaining a projector to bring things alive will impact their lives. In addition, recently we were gratefully awarded a document camera that will only work with a projector. With a projector my students will have access to a new world of education that will enhance their abilities and further engage their interest.

Every student deserves the opportunity to see the world around them even if it is through a projector.

This projector will aid every subject and allow my students to actively engage with any material presented to them. Please help me broaden their world with a projector. Let the fire be lit.
