Help me give my students the visual resources they need! My students are excellent visual learners. These anchor charts and vibrant color markers will give them the confidence they need to succeed in Science and Math.
My students and I live in a very rural area in the Panhandle of Florida that was effected by Hurricane Michael. We are a Title 1 school where every student receives free breakfast and lunch everyday. Our school has many different dynamics that play into the lives of my students. Field trips are few and far between that require an hour drive. My students are very eager to start the school year to learn new science and math curriculum. They love hands on learning activities! They are excited to see how the world around them works and apply learned skills. They enjoy working together on self driven projects and crave independence. They are always so proud of their accomplishments!
My Project
Fourth grade Science and Math are both highly visual and hands on subjects! As my students learn subject matter, we will make anchor charts to hang around the classroom so they can use them as reference charts through out the year. The vibrant color markers will make the charts stand out and be more appealing to the students.
With colorful anchor charts posted around the room, my students will be able to master Science and Math content more easily.
When students have the visual resources they need, they are more likely to succeed! And succeeding students makes for happy teachers!
