My Students

My school is located in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Our school is a low income with many students on free or reduced lunches. My 5th grade classroom is a Title One building. We have wonderful students, parents, and staff! Many of my students come from different cultural backgrounds and speak different languages.

My Project

My students love to sit at the carpet in groups or indoor lunch and play board games. It’s important for my classroom to be an educational and wonderful place to learn. I want to give my students an inviting and creative classroom. This carpet is great fun visual to help promote learning! This carpet allows a student to learn with all the classroom items around them. I want my students to have everything they need to be a success and engaged learners. My classroom environment needs to welcoming to my students since school is their second home.
