My students are fierce, strong, outspoken, talented young writers that are currently preparing for their AP Literature Exam this Spring. As they prepare virtually, they have encountered various struggles when finding ways to improve their writing, practice taking written exams, and conferring with their teacher over virtual platforms and not in person.
KIPP College Preparatory is a high-performing, college-preparatory public school in Washington DC.
At KIPP DC schools, students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become Washington DC’s next generation of leaders.
Even throughout virtual learning over the course of the last few months, my students continue to give their all and dedicate themselves to improving their English skills. Whether it be via zoom, sending pictures of their writing, or using various writing platforms to write, they are committed to scoring 3's or higher on their AP Exams in the Spring, which would provide them with college credit moving into their first year of college in the Fall of 2021.
For the holidays, I would love to provide my students with the supplies necessary to enhance their skills so that they feel confident heading into their exam in the spring.
Rocketbook Virtual Notebooks are reusable, shareable notebooks. After finishing writing on a page, one can simply upload their handwritten assignment into a google drive, email, text, or google classroom. They can then erase their writing and use the page again and again for their next assignment!
These notebooks allow my students to not only have a reusable notebook (saving money and paper) but to submit written assignments in a clear way that allows for feedback from their teachers, as well as the ability to save their handwritten work forever.
Rocketbook Notebooks are easy to use and will provide a consistent system for students to submit their handwritten work. They also provide an opportunity for realistic practice for timed written assignments.
