Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In this new world of remote learning, my students still need a real live person teaching.
The resources necessary for live or recorded lessons are a big need during our technology-based learning.
As we adjust to using technology, we realize that we still need many of the supplies that are locked away in our classrooms.
My Project
My students are all home trying to learn new material.
They need visual charts to learn and understand new concepts.
Even from home, I am still actively teaching my students. So many videos and resources can be found online, but I feel that I need to personalize my teaching for my students. The Post-it pads and markers will be used to model and demonstrate lessons to my students. They, along with the pre-made math charts, will provide the visuals and scaffolds that my English Language Learners desperately need to navigate this new learning.
