My Students

I teach 8th Grade Physical Science. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and also live up to 100 miles away from our school campus. We have a great Science driven community but we are lacking in resources and funding from the state to keep up with our science materials.

I have many students who are motivated to pursue careers in the science and technology field.

We need your help to make this dream a reality for my students. My students are wonderful children who are curious about the world that we live in and want to help learn how to explain the phenomenas through out it.

My Project

Teaching science remotely has its challenges. Giving our class access to an iPad, we can create Science and Engineering videos and lessons that are interactive for my students. Students need to be able to visually see the hands on STEM activities while they are following along at home. This iPad will help me create interactive STEM lessons for my students while they are learning from home. I will be able to write on the iPad with my handwriting which may help break up traditional student/teacher emails. I can also use the handwriting app to show STEM calculations in real-time to my students while we are at home. The iPad can be used to manage Google Classroom and other platforms my students use daily online.
