Morris P8 is a Title I school in Alabama. 100% of our students receive free breakfast, lunch, and weekend food backpack. Morris P8 students are from diverse backgrounds and ethnicity. As a school, we strive to bring unity and educational opportunities among all our students.
Innovative technology is an engaging way to extend our students' learning.
Building a life long desire to learn is a goal for all.
Our school goals are to bring more experiences into the hands of our students. Create lessons to lead their learning beyond the walls of the classroom.
We want them to explore the world.
Our school would like to provide our students with the opportunity to experience Virtual Reality Expeditions through the purchase of the Android Handheld Devices. We are creating Google Expeditions Kits for our teachers to have the technology for their students. Morris P8 students will experience the world without leaving the classroom. The Android devices will work with Google Cardboard devices that we already have for our kit.
Morris P8 students will explore new places and ideas across the curriculum.
Science Class will never be the same with Virtual Reality Expeditions. When students study the human body from a textbook now they can experience virtual reality throughout the body with 360° and 3D images. Imagine exploring space or the bottom of the ocean. Students will experience the greatest adventures they would never have without the devices for our viewers.
