My Students

My classroom is made of 25 wonderful, brilliant third grade students. All of my students are very energetic, enjoy learning new material, and love doing activities that require hands-on learning.

Due to the size of our school, funding is limited and extra supplies and materials often come from the pockets of the teachers.

This makes it difficult to provide everything that is needed in the classroom. Our school is a large elementary school, made up of approximately six hundred students. We have a great, caring staff that works hard to make sure all of our students have what they need to succeed.

My Project

Receiving this computer will allow me to record myself teaching for my students while they are at home due to the pandemic. It will also allow me to have live meetings with them to teach and answer questions just as if we were in the classroom learning. Right now we do not know from week to week if we will have in person school or virtual school. The uncertainty is stressful for all teachers.

This computer will allow me the ability to ensure my students can learn in person or during virtual school.

Allowing my students to hear my voice and see my face will give them some familiarity of the classroom and school while working from home. It will allow them to reach out to me at any time when they have questions or need my help with an assignment. If you are able to donate please help me and my students to receive this amazing piece of technology.
