My Students

I have 10 amazing students in my self-contained classroom which is now virtual which makes you think outside the box. My students are creative, fun, energetic, and are on the autism spectrum, all on different levels. I look forward to going to work each day and learning from my students. Every day is an adventure, and I am blessed and honored to know each of these students and spend my day with them.

Autism can present different opportunities, each day, to grow and work through a challenge.

I admire the strength of each of these young people, and I want to help them achieve greatness.

I work at a high poverty school, and although I am supported, it can take a village to make a classroom run smoothly. My students learn differently from their typical peers, which requires different items and curriculum to help them be successful each day.

In this virtual environment all support is appreciated.

My Project

In this virtual environment we have to think outside the box.

For Science my students watch magic school bus and we continue on with worksheets that go along with the video.

This targets multiple areas such as Science, Reading , Writing and Comprehension.

The cost of a year of netflix is 155.00. I am asking for amazon gift cards to help purchase netflix for the year so I can display it to my students.

Outside of Magic school bus we watch other videos as a brain break and positive reinforcement.
