This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students love learning, and come to school excited each day ready to learn and experience something new! We live in an area of great need, and continuing this love of learning has been hampered by the recent developments of covid-19. I am hoping for print resources to send them, and dreaming of opening their world through a device to go with the 60 days of free internet a local company is offering. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

My Project

My students are lower-income students and do not have the internet accessibility options that other students have, which makes their continued learning during this time more difficult. The local school district is helping by providing printed packets, but in this day and age, that is not enough. I do not want my students left behind. I want to connect with them virtually to help them continue their learning, and for them to have access to all that is available academically online. These tablets will allow my students to do that. I know it's asking a lot, but my students deserve the best! Thank you for your help! We all appreciate it!
