Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I love my students because not only are they intelligent and amazing, they are all diverse. They come from different backgrounds, different family sizes and have been through different things in their life. Some have lost homes due to the tornado and the Christmas Day bombing and some have even lost loved ones due to Covid-19.

Even through all the turmoil and traffic events that our students have suffered, they continue to show love to one another, empathy and respect, and that alone makes me love them even more.

Even though we are learning virtually for the entire school year, I still want to ensure my students are successful, at home and at school.

My Project

The items that I ordered to will help my students have a better understanding of what's being taught at home. They will have the resources to better understand virtual learning. Being at home is already a struggle with so much that's going on, that I want them to have the resources and the confidence to succeed. I love my students and I want them to know how much I do love them. 1st Grade Rocks!!! I want them to have a great virtual experience at home. Thank you for all that you do!!!
