Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a wonderful group of energetic students who are full of life. Every day, they work very hard to reach their goals.
My students come from different backgrounds in a Title I school located in South Central Los Angeles.
More than half of my students are from low-income households. My students are eager to learn and be creative every day. They are sweet, respectful, responsible, kind, happy, and curious students who love to explore the endless possibilities in our classroom. They are amazing kids who deserve the best education. I feel blessed to teach such an amazing group of students.
My Project
Help me give my students the ability to engage in virtual learning experiences through the donation of a Macbook. My students have a great need for technology at home while classes are being taught virtually as we navigate through our current status of social distancing. Students will only be able to connect to their teachers and peers through technology.
My students need Macbook in order to keep up with the learning track, and to be able to participate on, Zoom, our virtual education program.
A macbook is the ideal tool for my students because it will grant them access to our online meetings, capability to successfully complete their dailylearning activities, and will allow them to complete their assignments on line.
