My Students

I am a teacher at a Title I school in a very rural community. Many of my students are faced with challenges outside of the classroom. Some of my students have no educational opportunities outside of school. Also, in 2016, our community was terrorized by a major flood. Many of these students lost their homes as well as everything they had. Some of these students are still feeling the impact of this flood by living in unfinished homes. I love that my students are still excited about learning despite it all.

My students may face many challenges but they deserve a fun, exciting and positive learning experience.

My Project

It is very important that students develop an excitement and love for learning at an early age.

These gift certificates for teachers pay teachers will help me to purchase fun, pre-made activities that are already set up for the digital learning platform.

I will be able to purchase exciting digital and hands-on resources that will help them with reading, language, writing, math, social studies and science.

The resources that will be purchased will allow virtual students to do the same exciting activities that we do each day in class. These gift cards will help me foster the love of learning even when students are learning from home.
