My students attend a Title I school located near a military base. They come to school each day eager to learn, and they work very hard to reach the high expectations that are required of them. My students come from varied socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. I want to give them every opportunity to succeed and become 21st-century learners. My students thrive on challenges and are always hungry for new learning opportunities that allow them to display, enrich, and expand their imaginations.
I believe that it is my responsibility to provide a quality education with plenty of hands-on and technology experiences for all of my students regardless of their background.
I want to give them the best chance of being successful in today's competitive world. Staying at the forefront of education is important to me. I want to give them the opportunity to have an edge in our ever-growing and competitive global society so that they can be productive members of society.
My Project
I am looking to enhance our virtual learning by incorporating great hands-on projects. I would love to provide lots of real-world problem solving for my students, even during virtual learning. I want to provide engaging projects that will enhance their learning of grade level skills.
Teachers Pay Teachers is such a great website for finding resources, knowledge, and inspiration to make curriculum more hands-on and engaging.
I want to be able to provide meaningful math, reading, science, and social studies projects that will teach my students valuable real-life skills. I want to show them that what they are learning has value beyond the classroom.
