My Students

My students are special because of their individual abilities that each one of them encompass. They truly impress me each day as they develop better thinking and learning. I love seeing their personalities come out as we build relationships with one another on a daily basis. I have students who come from families who are lower income class and don't have the support at home. I want to be the teacher who gives them that positive outlook each day. I want them to come to school because they are excited, too! They are such good kids and I hope that I can uplift them daily, teach them about leadership and respect, and inspire them!

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by providing them with the necessary supplies and manipulatives needed for distance learning. These supplies could also be used in the classroom once we are back there someday. For now, our virtual students will be able to use these supplies in their learning through Zoom calls and Canvas work. For example, in math time, these materials will be used to deliver instruction to the students and have them show their thinking on the white boards using the markers. This will give the teacher a way to see their work and understanding.
