My Students

My spunky students live in rural Appalachian Kentucky. They are a loving and kind bunch of kiddos. With each challenge they face in the classroom, they exhibit a growth mindset. They truly enjoy learning and look forward to coming to school each day. They master new tasks daily.

Whether it be coding, mathematics, or reading, my students exhibit eagerness and excitement to grow as both learners and human beings.

I am proud to teach such a wonderful bunch of kids.

My Project

This year has been one like no other. As teachers, we are constantly trying to adapt to the newness that comes with each day. Teaching from a distance threw a curveball at everyone, but we are doing what we do best and are making it work. I do not have virtual activities for all of my standards and it becomes a struggle to find and afford to provide an abundance of virtual activities. These gift cards would help me to financially afford to purchase engaging and creative activities for my students.
