Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are funny and love life. They enjoy working together and sharing ideas. We are a close-knit community. I teach physical education and math for four classes and the state-mandated Respond to Intervention and Instruction class. At times, they need to be motivated and experience opportunities for success. I have one class that is an inclusion class. This project will help with providing students with fun and engaging activites and lite refreshments as we have our Christmas party.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference in my students with regard to building community and Social Emotional Learning. The snacks will be used to give my students a goody bag. The goal is that we will have our snacks and enjoy a movie together. We are a family. The light refreshments consists of popcorn, candy, and fruit juice. The overall outcome is that I want to reward students that have participated and have met the virtual expectations for this school. This project will supplement some other items that I have acquired.
